My name is Peter O'Leary and I'm a London based photographer, working in the UK and Europe. I have extensive experience in the architecture and construction space, spending thirty years in the construction industry both overseas and in the UK has brought a unique perspective to the world of buildings, how they go together, and how people interact with them both during construction, and after completion. I have taken this knowledge, and combined it with a life time interest in photography, turning my skills into a professional photography practice.
I'm interested in how we as humans connect and meet with nature, the interaction of the different areas of society that we all contribute to and where they meet nature, and our awareness of that. A lifetime in construction gives me an understanding of how industry choices through design and manufacturing techniques can affect this relationship, and how these choices help shape history and the environment.
Collaboration for me is important, I feel it is the best way to grow and understand, I'm always looking for ways to collaborate and work with other like minded people or groups.
Photography is an opportunity to capture the changes and possibilities of what is going on in our world, if you have a project that you would like to discuss get in contact.
